Letter to Students March 26
Dear Clarkson College Student;
Today, I reach out to you from an uncharacteristically quiet campus, as we experience the first week of full-scale online instruction for theory courses and limited on-campus labs in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Like many of you, I am still adjusting to our new realities. Please know that we take seriously the call to demonstrate the College values of Commitment, Integrity, Learning, Excellence and Caring. Caring for the whole person is especially relevant in times of fear and anxiety around a new illness.
In carrying out our commitment to you, Clarkson College has many resources available to care for you and to meet your needs as a valued member of our family and future health care professional. These services are still available to you, only in a modified delivery mode. During this time of uncertainty, please feel free to reach out to any of the support services by email or phone. Our counselors are available to assist with effective coping strategies related to any stress and anxiety you may be experiencing.
Students, we are all in this together. As your Clarkson College family, your welfare is our biggest concern. Even though we do not know what the future holds, please remember you are not alone. We also continue to focus our resources and energy into assisting you to meet your educational pursuits, through our efforts working with program specific accrediting bodies, the state, and federal entities. Please reach out to us and stay connected. We are here for you. We are healthcare. We are Clarkson College!!
Sincerely,
Aubray Orduna, EdD, MSN, RN
